Velvet Noir Apartment by Solea

I highly recommend the apartments from Solea Holiday Homes. I stayed in this apartment for almost a month, and everything felt very good. I was very satisfied with both the accommodation and the quality of their service. The neighbourhood is not only quiet but also feels safe. From the first day I moved in, I felt warm and comfortable here. Because of this, I decided to rent another apartment from the same company and stay for another month. If I come back to Malta in the future, Solea Holiday Homes will definitely be my first choice again.

Nos encantó la estancia. El apartamento muy limpio y cómodo, la cocina muy bien equipada, también con algunos ingredientes básicos: aceite de oliva, sal, especias, café de diferentes tipos. La ubicación es estratégica para moverse a pie, en ferry y autobús a los destinos turísticos más importantes. Las instrucciones fueron claras, el horario flexible, el personal de limpieza gentil. Agradecimos las recomendaciones locales, nos sentimos como en casa. Recomendamos este lugar a otros viajeros. Sin duda nos hospedaremos nuevamente aquí cuando regresemos a Malta.

Полноценные апартаменты. Удобная кровать, гостиная с огромным телевизором. Есть посуда, капсулы для кофе, для посудомоечной машины, для стиралки. В холодильнике было заботливо оставлена бутылка воды. Есть и сушилка и стиралка, есть утюг. Прекрасный балкон для утреннего кофе. Кондиционеры в обоих комнатах Санузел немного тесноват. Раковина очень маленькая и неудобно в ней даже зубы чистить. Вентиляция в санузел выходит в никуда - просто в нишу без вытяжки)))

The apartment was perfect for my 2 week work trip. I highly recommend for any solo travelers or couples wanting a quiet location close to the heart of the Sliema strand. I look forward to staying here again.

Nice apartment not far away from the waterfront as well as from Baluta Bay, situated in a quiet and residential street. Fully equipped (even with a wash machine), much space and pefect for a relaxed stay. Balcony included. We would stay there again. Communication could be better. You receive very long emails with too much information, but the question if we could have a second keycard was only answered after the 2nd attempt (by the way, a second keycard is "against the policy"). And we didnt't want to watch TV during our holidays, but we have asked ourselves why there is a huge television flat screen in the apartment when there is no TV reception.

The accommodation was perfectly located just tucked behind the seafront hotels and shops on a quiet street but so close to everything. The apartment was spotless and exactly like the photos with all the mod cons to enjoy home from home. Air-conditioning throughout. Did I mention spotless?? We were very impressed and also with self check-in etc plenty of support and advice from Bert to help us enjoy our stay in beautiful Malta 🇲🇹 Having to leave!!!

We all enjoyed our stay in the Solea apartments. Comfortable and clean, all you need to feel like home. Our street was calm and peaceful. Everything was like on the pictures. We appreciate all the care and detail Solea put into their apartments. Communication was amazing and quick, all my questions were answered. Me and my girls are grateful for the stay. Everything Bathroom

This apartment was great. Very modern, clean and tidy, apartment with all the amenities you would need. Easy to find and check in. The host is very responsive, very helpful, and provided a great list of local recommendations. Great location, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We hired a car, there is free parking on the road, and other roads - we could always park within a 5 minute walk every day with no problems. Would love to stay again!

Modern, tiszta, központi elhelyezkedés

Great apartment with everything required for wellbeing in Malta. Located in quiet street and walking distance from the coast and city life. Communication with the owner was smooth, efficient and helpful, if required. Totally suggest this place to all who don’t want to stay at a load and expensive coastline but enjoy peacefully for a reasonable price.

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood. The building has an elevator. We communicate with Bert via chat, so we don’t need to meet face to face.

Just stayed at this apartment for a couple of night. Apartment was spacious, clean and conveniently located to Valetta, the coast and access to all tours. Can definitely recommend a visit.

Great place to stay! Comfy bed and had everything that needed. Only minus that check out is very early in the morning but had a storage to leave our staff.

Sliema is een perfecte locatie om Malta te bezoeken. Ok, het verkeer is er soms wat chaotisch, maar verder vonden we de locatie hélemaal top. Parkeren konden we altijd gewoon in de straat doen met onze huurauto. Heel wat keuze aan restaurants, vlakbij Valetta, winkels en bakkers op wandelafstand. Het appartement had alles te bieden wat we verwachten. Een handige keuken met alle benodigdheden, een gezellige living en een slaapplek met een ruime kast waarin je alles kwijt kan!

our stay here was great. everything as described and close to great restaurants and the waterfront. the apartment is up a step hill though which is fine for us but if you have mobility issues it could be tough. I'd deffo stay again

Everything was great. Perfect location, lots of restaurants, shops nearby, close to the sea. The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking, there is a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron, hairdryer, etc. I also want to note that communication with the host was helpful and fast. Thank you for your hospitality ❤️

The apartment is very lovely! The location requires the use of a car or taxi to get most places.

This apartment is a great option for those who want to stay close to Valletta and have access to the rest of Malta. Sliema is a nice area in Malta and the main area is only a short walk from the apartment. Additionally, buses and the ferry going to Valletta is only about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Apartment was as described and was only a 10 min walk to the ferry to Valletta. Lots of bars and eateries a short walk down the long hill. Bert’s service was fantastic and gave us lots of recommendations.

The apartment is really nice. This is my second time staying in a place hosted by Bert and I have to say I will continue to do so when I have the chance. The apartment's are nice, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend any apartment by Bert and his team as you won't have to worry about anything and will definitely enjoy your stay.

La asistencia de su equipo cuando tubimos problemas con el código de acceso a la puerta de la calle, fué excelente. El apartamento estaba tal como se muestra en la web. Better than even planned. Best location and the best host. Definitely my stay in Malta would not be the same without those hosts. Quite located even and 5 walking from everything you need!

Great place. Was walkable to the main town, very clean, had a lot of amenities. Would definitely stay again.

Good choice for a couple or very small family, not far from the main areas of activity and the sea front but comes at a very steep hill, so not recommended for those who are not athletic enough or those with a baby stroller. The host is friendly and accommodated us with a late checkout, which we appreciated. Good choice for people who don't mind walking and taking steep roads, while being at a central area.

Naš boravak u ovom smještaju bio je izvanredan. Domaćin je vrlo brzo odgovarao na poruke i pružio korisne savjete o lokalnim atrakcijama, trgovinama i ljekarnama. Smještaj je bio besprijekorno čist i uredan, točno kako je opisan u oglasu. Sve navedene pogodnosti bile su prisutne i u odličnom stanju. Domaćin je bio izuzetno susretljiv, pružajući korisne savjete i detaljne upute. Lokacija je mirna i idealna za opuštanje, a sve je dostupno pješice. Put do smještaja je strmovit ako dolazite iz obale Slieme, što može biti predstavljati manje izazove. Blizina grada St. Julian's i mnogobrojne autobusne linije čine lokaciju praktičnom za korištenje javnog prijevoza. Naš boravak je bio izuzetno ugodan i bez stresa. Preporučujemo ovaj smještaj svim budućim gostima koji traže čist, udoban i dobro smješten smještaj s ljubaznim domaćinom. Veselimo se ponovnom boravku ovdje!

The flat was very clean and organised, having everything that we needed, and Bert (the host) has been very helpful with information and advice from the beginning.

We had a fantastic stay at Bert’s place! From first inquiry to check out communication was wonderful! Several days prior to arrival he messaged us with the check in procedure and on day of arrival we received the necessary codes. Bert send extremely informative messages with information on tourist attractions in Malta and practical info about Sliema relative to suggestions and locations of grocery stores,, pharmacies, coffee shops, etc- super helpful!! The location was convenient- walkable to both sides of the bay (as an FYI they were “hilly” walks, but very doable. The Valletta ferry was a 12 minute walk. The unit was clean and well appointed. For us, the washer and tumble dryer were the best assets! There were A/C units in both the living room and bedroom (individually controlled). This is a great flat and highly recommend booking it!

Super Apartment! Lage gut zu Fuß zur Fähre erreichbar :) Bert gibt einem viele Tipps fürs Sightseeing oder guten Restaurants etc. Ich würde diese Unterkunft nochmals buchen, bei einem Besuch auf Malta!! :) Bad war etwas klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Küche mit Spülmaschine ist super und ein Trockner und eine Waschmaschine sind auch verfügbar! Toll!

Fantastyczny apartament, bardzo czysty i w dobrej lokalizacji. Na miejscu nie zabrakło nam nic w wyposażeniu. W bliskiej odległości restauracje i sklepy. Gospodarz szybko odpowiada na wiadomości i w dodatku przesyła mnóstwo ciekawych wskazówek. Miejsce warte polecenia :)

Had a lovely stay at Bert’s place. The apartment was lovely and spotless. Perfect for exploring sliema and surrounding areas!

El apartamento está tal cual se ve en las fotos, está muy bien equipado y está nuevo. A destacar el aire acondicionado en la habitación y en el salón, que en días de mucho calor como los que pasamos en malta se agradece. Buena comunicación por parte de Bert. La única pega es la empinada cuesta que hay que subir desde el paseo hasta el apartamento, a cambio se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila por las noches. estuvimos muy a gusto.

Die Wohnung ist genauso wie auf den Fotos. Es ist alles da gewesen. Top sauber und in bester Qualität. Wer Urlaub auf Malta mache möchte bucht diese Wohnung. Morgens bis 8 Uhr Schatten auf den Balkon danach schön Sonne! Es war alles perfekt und man hat sich wie zuhause gefühlt. Bert antwortet sofort und ist sehr freundlich. Tips für die Umgebung gab es reichlich. Supermarkt und Restaurants zu Fuß zu erreichen. War alles TOP !!!

Appena aperta la porte ci siamo trovati un appartamento incantevole, pulitissimo, curato in ogni singolo dettaglio, impeccabile. posizione perfetta, lontana dai rumori, in 5 minuti sei alla marina dove trovi, ristoranti fermati autobus, Ferries. Host sempre presente dalla prenotazione fino al checkout. Bert ti facciamo complimenti la tua professionalità é il traguardo di ogni Host de Airbnb.
