Der sehr hilfsbereite, nette Gastgeber hat ALLES getan ein technisches Problem schnellstmöglich zu beseitigen. Die Kommunikation war verständnisvoll, höflich, schnell und lösungsfokussiert. Nach der Buchung haben wir zahlreiche, ausführliche Info-e-mails erhalten, die uns unseren Aufenthalt in Malta sehr erleichtert haben (z.B. wie seine technischen Küchen-Geräte bedient werden, wo es empfehlenswerte Gaststätten gibt, wie die Mülltrennung funktioniert ...). Busse + Lokale + Geschäfte sind innnerhalb 5 min. Fußweg erreichbar. Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes eine Straßenbaustelle in der Nähe.

The view from the rental is beautiful and even though there is construction going on it didn't detract from it at all. There is a great amount of restaurants right below the rental to choose from, and there are several grocery marts within a short walking distance. The only complaint is the couch. It's barely big enough for two people, extremely uncomfortable, and the only place to sit down except for the two dining chairs, which was very unfortunate. There was a problem with the sliding glass door, which was promptly acknowledged and resolved very quickly.

Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, perfeckt auch für Reisende mit kleine Koffer weil Wohnung hat Waschmaschine+Trockner Funktion sogar wasch-kapseln waren auch dabei. Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage, also top. Es waren paar Dingen welche benötigen Reparatur, Balkon Türe kann man nicht zusperren, paar Möbel Defekte. Im Schlafzimmer bissi Lärm von Straßenverkehr.

Fantastic, the apartment was clean , facilities , everything you need close to everything beach , restaurants access to buses if you not driving . The view from the apartment was great it could be abit noisy at times however you are on holiday but I highly recommend this apartment, I know this area very well being maltese and lived in Zejtun it’s in a very great location. However what stood out for me it’s the quick response from the host Amazing if I could give them 10 stars I will , thank you for a lovely stay

It was nice, clean apartaments with very nice view. There was everything what we needed for one week stay in Malta. Few items were missing, but staff delivered that within a few hours. Highly recomending Solea for everyone who is planning stay in Malta.

the view from the apartment was fantastic and the apartment was centrally located with a diversity of restaurants. The area was lively well into the night if you want a metropolitan vibe with the coziness of a port village.

Hosts were very responsive with any queries and questions before and during stay! Gave some great recommendations for places nearby and left things you would potentially need without having been to the shops before arrival!! Great storage for longer trips and in a beautiful location with great links for transport and such a friendly neighbourhood!! Instructions were extremely clear and helpful and even had someone to come and visit to fix things or to check and see if they could help when needed!! Couldn’t have had a better stay than this anywhere else and would definitely recommend staying here!

The Apartment ist well situated just right at the Harbour with a beautiful view from the balcony. For us it was easy to find a parking spot for the car in the close surrounding. The apartment itself was clean and we found everything we needed for a stay during your vacation. There was a washing mashing with two detergent-taps and a dishwasher with two taps as well. For breakfast there was a coffee mashing, kettle and toaster, so everything you need to prepare a nice breakfast on the sunny balkony. The only small downside were some noisy neighbours in the house (also the airbnb) which kept us awake one night. There are house rules and quiet hours but not every guest seems to stick to them. All in all we enjoyed our stay and can recommend the apartment for a vacation in Malta!

The apartment is bright and clean with everything I needed. Great view (both at day and at night). Close to the sea, and good public transport to get you anywhere in Malta, bus stops are very close. Perfect for some relaxation & good for exploring the country. I'll be happy to visit again.

Sehr gute Lage, fantastischer Ausblick vom Balkon. Kleine aber funktionale Wohnung. Alles notwendige war dort. Das ganze Haus sind Airbnb Appartements, Bert immer gut erreichbar und hat auf Fragen prompt geantwortet. Sehr unkomplizierter Check in und checkout. Nur Beleuchtung an der Haupteingangstür fehlt was den Zugang zum Schlüsselsafe am Abend schwierig gestaltet.

We loved our 5-day stay in Marsaslaka. The apartment is situated 1 minute away from bars, restaurants and bus stops. It was very well equipped and especially the AC with a quiet mode that is actually quiet stood out to me. Despite the 5 star, things we liked less: - bed was rather hard and small for us - light leaking from the bedroom window shutters. If you're sensitive to this, bring a sleeping mask. - slightly cramped bathroom. Little room to put items - some issue with the fridge not working when we arrived, which was resolved the next day. Apart from that, the apartment had everything we needed! Dishwasher, washing machine and tablets to use them were provided, as well as coffee.

Our stay at Berts apartment was great, perfect location, clean, close to restaurants & transport enjoyed our stay very much.

The place was great, a little bit out of the way in Marsaskala (a slightly less touristy area) - overall, great value for money and a very pleasant stay. The host was super informative and checking in and going out was a breeze.

O apartamento de Bert estava em boas condições e é muito agradável. Espaçoso o suficiente para um casal e com uma vista muito agradável para a Baía. Apanhamos uma onda de calor e graças a Deus havia ar condicionado (que funciona muito bem). Bert é 5*, ajudou-nos no que precisamos e ainda promoveu serviços e locais para que a nossa estadia em Malta fosse o mais agradável possível.

The apartments were very good, they had everything you need for a comfortable stay. beautiful view from the balcony, there are several cafes nearby and a supermarket open from 6 am to 11 pm.

Staying in Berts apartment was a pleasure. Very clean, spacious, with a beautiful view of the sea. Bert gave us a lot of helpful info to plan our trip and if we had a question, he instantly repplied.

very nice apartment, on the 3rd floor so a few stairs, no elevator. Great views, apartment was as described and as pictured, just be aware the bed is up against the wall and can be a little closed in for two people but we managed fine. Bert is very helpful and can send lots of recommendations. we did have a car and always found a car park.

Our stay at Bert’s place was wonderful. The neighbourhood was full with everything you’d need: restaurants, cafes, minimarkets, even a cute little pub and bus stations extremely close to the apartament building. The apartament is a bit small, but perfect for a couple or single traveling. Enjoying the morning coffee with that view was something else. :)

Sehr gute Lage. Check-In war mit Schlüsselbox super einfach. Wir haben viele Tipps bekommen und Bert war erreichbar für Fragen. Alles war sehr sauber. Einen Parkplatz vor dem Haus zu finden war nie ein Problem, es gab immer freie Plätze. Einziger Nachteil: es ist auch nachts sehr laut aufgrund der zwei Straßen direkt vor und hinter dem Haus. Mit Ohrenstöpsel konnten wir aber problemlos schlafen. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Wir waren als kleine Familie mit unserer einjährigen Tochter hier. Dafür ist die Wohnung einfach zu klein. Im Bad kann man sich kaum umdrehen und das Bett ist für ein Paar bereits recht schmal und unbequem. Die Kaffeemaschine hat anfangs nicht funktioniert, uns wurde direkt Ersatz geliefert. Zudem haben wir ein Reisebett und einen Hochstuhl bekommen, das war super und sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung war leider nicht komplett sauber und es hat irgendwie etwas unangenehm gerochen. Die Lage ist super, man bekommt einen Parkplatz und hat einen schönen Blick über den Hafen.

The apartment was great with no surprises with accurate pictures. The host sent us guidelines for the local rules as well as suggestions for stuff to do which was really helpful. The arrival is completely independent with clear instructions for how to get to the apartment. He even has videos with instructions. For example, for how to open the box where the key was in, or how to operate the TV. Also his response was immediate when we needed him. The whole apartment was very clean and fully refurbished. The bathroom was small but fully functional and realy clean. same for the bed sheets and the kitchen. The only con that I found was that the bed was quite small (double but the small one) and its mattress wasn't that comfortable. In overall it was a very good accommodation with great view at a convenient location and I suggest Bret as a host as well as the apartment.

Mein Urlaub war perfekt. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Lage ist sehr gut , mehrere Bushaltestellen in der direkten Umgebung, tolle Restaurants und gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Bert ist sehr freundlich , hilfsbereit und antwortet sehr schnell. Aber das beste war die Aussicht !!! Einfach unbezahlbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstes empfehlen.

Bert's place was great - the view from the living room, the location with great places to eat in the neighborhood, walking distance from the very nice St. Thomas Bay and the parking spots that were easily accessible from both sides of the building. If I had to find something, the only issue might be the noise of cars at peak hours, but this did not have an impact on us - I highly recommend this place!

we werden ´s ochtends vroeg gewekt door bouwwerken in de buurt. we hadde bij het aankomen moeite met de ingang van het appartement te vinden, de GPS stuurde ons naar de achterkant. eens daar lukte het goed om binnen te komen

The apartment is clean, fresh and tidy. Pluses - bus stop near the apartments, cafes a few steps away, beautiful view from the balcony, easy check in (especially if you have early or late flight). Only minuse - cars on the road can be heard even with the windows closed. But in general, we highly recommend these apartments for rent to others.

Superbe séjour dans l’appartement de Bert! L’appartement est fonctionnel clair et propre ! Le petit balcon avec la vue sur le port était magnifique. Bert et un hôte adorable, gentil et très réactif. Tout est parfaitement coordonné pour passer un séjour incroyable dans l’appartement. Je le recommande fortement et si nous repassons par Malte nous retournerons dans un des appartements de Bert.

View from balcony was spectacular overlooking the ocean. Walking distance from all essentials including bars and restaurants. Very communicative and responsive host- will be staying again.

Logement très agréable avec une magnifique vue ! Facile pour se garer . Y a l’air d’avoir pas mal de bus aux alentours . La promenade est très agréable . Pas loin de La Valette . Max une heure de route du ferry pour Gozo et Comino. Rien à dire tout était très bien. !

Is a good place for 2 people, nice view and very convenient as downstairs are places to eat. If you chose to use a public transport the bus stop is just opposite the apartment.

We had such a fantastic time staying at Bert's apartment. It is exactly like the description and photos and we absolutely loved the big panoramic window and the balcony overlooking the water and everything going on underneath. :-) Bert was extremely helpful before our stay, during check-in and throughout our week there. The only reason we gave the location/neighbourhood only 4 stars instead of 5 is that in the morning it really is a little noisy on the roads below and we are simply not used to that living in the countryside. But the value for money was extremely good and we can really recommend it to future guests.

Living in Bert's apartment was perfect. It's located in very nice part of the island where mainly locals live, with great view on the bay. The area has genuin local vibe. In the evenings, a lot of bars are open, but they don't have loud disturbing music. Everithing was exactly as described.

Ich bin ganz spontan auf die Idee gekommen Malta zu besuchen. Es hat sich gelohnt! Leider hatte das Flugzeug 2 Stunden Verspätung, so dass ich erst gegen Mitternacht ankam und Schwierigkeiten hatte, das Zahlenschloss zu bezwingen. Im Nachhinein stellte sich heraus, dass ich wahrscheinlich zu müde und unkonzentriert war. Es war super einfach, mit App am Flughafen ein Taxi zu buchen. Als ich allerdings Schwierigkeiten hatte, die Wohnung zu betreten wäre es toll gewesen, wenn ich jemanden telefonisch erreicht hätte! Hier gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf. Ansonsten war die Wohnung toll, der Ausblick ist ein Traum, Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Ausflugsziele sind bequem mit Taxi oder dem Bus zu erreichen. In der Wohnung selbst waren ein paar Kleinigkeiten defekt, alles aber nicht der rede wert. Die Kommunikation mit Bert ansonsten schnell und unkompliziert. Erwähnen möchte ich noch den Straßenverkehr. Leider liegt das Schlafzimmer an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, was man besonders in den frühen Morgenstunden hört. In der Nacht ist es ruhig. Nichts desto trotz hatte ich eine tolle Auszeit und ich habe mir die tage genauso gestaltet, wie ich es mit vorgestellt habe! beim nächsten Mal würde ich evtl etwas weiter in den Norden der Insel "ziehen" um andere Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erleben.

Świetny apartament. W pełni wyposażony, pralka, zmywarka, piekarnik, wszystkie potrzebne naczynia do przygotowania posiłków. Widok z balkonu niesamowity. Przystanek autobusowy pod samymi drzwiami. Kontakt z właścicielem bardzo dobry. Polecam.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer schönen, etwas abgelegeneren Ecke Maltas. Abends treffen sich die Einheimischen an der Bucht und genießen ihr Leben. Es war schön, etwas von dem Trubel und den Touristen in Valletta entfernt zu sein. Wenn man sich ein Auto leiht ist man innerhalb 15-20min in die Stadt gefahren, aber auch die Bushaltestelle mit Fahrten nach Valletta oder auch zum Flughafen war nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Busse fahren außerdem sehr regelmäßig und auch nach 22 Uhr noch. Ansonsten gibt es eine Menge Restaurants direkt vor der Tür und mit den besten Crêpe für einen super Preis! 🍫 Man kann sogar zu Fuß zu einer kleinen Strandbucht gelangen, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Die Wohnung ist süß eingerichtet und hat theoretisch alles, was man zum Leben braucht. Sollte man allerdings kochen wollen, muss man sich um Gewürze etc selbst kümmern. Für uns war das Bett etwas zu „schmal“, 140cm sind zu zweit etwas knapp.. ansonsten hat alles vom Check-In bis Check-Out gepasst ☺️ P.S. ein Adapter ist in der Wohnung vorhanden, ansonsten würde ich empfehlen noch einen mitzunehmen, da die deutschen Stecker nicht in die Steckdosen passen 🙋🏼‍♀️

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean and in good condition. When you have a rental car it is good because there are always enough free parking spots. The area is quiet, but great for a relaxing holiday. The only negative thing for us is the loud street close to the apartments and the windows didn‘t keep the noise out. So we were often awake during the night when loud cars or motorcycles pased. Anyway I can recommend this place!

The apartment is perfect! Very clean and modern. The second ac in the bedroom was a pleasant surprise🥰 the most extraordinary view from the window. Just below the flat there is a small restaurant where the food is also delicious. And the most important thing- Bert is a very helpful person so our communication was very good and fast. We definitely recommend it!

Berts Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Es ist alles ganz neu und die Küche ist mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet um zu kochen. Die beiden Klimaanlagen funktionieren auch sehr gut. Wir waren mit dem Auto da, es gab immer einen Parkplatz in der Straße vor dem Haus (kein Privatparkplatz). Der Blick auf den kleinen Hafen/ Bucht ist einfach traumhaft und unvergesslich :). Zu erwähnen ist, dass das Bett nicht sehr groß ist, wir schätzen auf 1,40m x 2,00m. Aber für eine Woche geht das natürlich auch mal :). Bert stand uns bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung und hatte immer schnell geantwortet. Danke nochmals hierfür :) Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Danke

Wow! Such a beautiful place to stay in. The pictures are accurate. The place is close to public transport, swimming areas in Marsaskala and restaurants. Check in was easy, the air conditioning worked a treat in the hot European summer and we really felt at home here. My sister-in-law is already going to book for next year, since we raved about it so much. Thank-you

A great apartment in a great location. Within 15 minutes, you are just about everywhere. While it is a “quiet” fishing town, it has amazing restaurants and the locals are extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you

Nice cozy place, just like in the pictures. We suggest it for everyone. The view from the balcony is uniquely beautiful and perfect for romantic time. There is bus station in the nearby, but please do NOT use the google, rather the Tallinja App. You can reach nice places easily from here. There are some restaurants in the nearby.
