Loved staying here and Bert was very responsive to us at all times. The apartment is cozy and perfect for a couple. I particularly liked the location of the place as it was quite central and near to a lot of places we wanted to visit. Definitely recommend it to anyone reading this right now.

Disponibilité et communication avec l'hôte. Beaucoup d'information fournies par messages avant et pendant le séjour. Appartement très bien équipé pour passer une semaine, avec tout le nécessaire pour démarrer et globalement propre. Proximité immédiate de la gare de bus de Marsaskala. Très bien également que plusieurs adaptateurs de prises électriques soient disponibles. La terrasse avec vue sur le port de la ville est très agréable. S'il faut vraiment trouver un point négatif, ce serait la taille de la salle de bain.

The apartment is big, with an excellent view over the little bay. It has everything inside. The windows are big and is beautiful to look at the water. The host left a bottle of wine and some sweets. The bed was a little smaller than I thought. The bedroom is next to the street and is very noisy. Friday and Saturday night is live music from the bars downstairs and is noisy too. Bring earplugs! Another annoying thing: the key for the building is in a lockbox, with a chain, one key for all the apartments. The host should attach a key for every apartment, not everyone using the same key.

I highly recommend it. A 7-day stay in this place was the best choice. The apartment is very well equipped—there was nothing we were missing. There’s a beautiful view of the bay from the terrace, and the promenade along the bay is just nearby. The contact with the property manager was excellent. None.

Très bon séjour dans un appartement où il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonne vacances. La vue du balcon est magnifique dans une rue vivante. Le personnel est réactif à la moindre sollicitation et nous avons même eu le droit à quelques petites attentions (eau, gâteau, café). Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement pour des futures vacances ! La pression de la douche n'est pas très forte.

Kleine, aber sehr bequeme Ferienwohnung, mit allem was ich gebraucht habe, gute Lage mit Seeblick. Schon mehrere Tagen vor unsere Einreise, habe ich vom Gastgeber vielen nutzbare Tipps bekommen für Restaurants, Einkaufen, Transport usw. Es gab in der Wohnung, sogar genügend Stromnetzadapter, was ich sehr gut finde. -

We spent a wonderful month in Marsaskala in this one-bedroom apartment. The apartment had a great view, lots of sunshine, and was located in a very nice area. Despite some challenging weather during Cyclone Harry, the team communicated extremely well and promptly addressed any issues that came up. The staff were very friendly, responsive, and supportive throughout our stay, which made us feel well taken care of. Overall, a very positive experience and a place we would happily recommend.

Die Wohnung hat alles was es braucht, ist makellos sauber, sehr nette Putzfrau. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sie zwischen zwei doch sehr befahrenen Strassen liegt. Bert liefert viele Infos, die man nicht unbedingt wissen will oder nur in einer Nachricht und nicht jeden Tag wieder einen Happen.

Die Lage und das Appartement war für unseren spontanen Kurzurlaub genau richtig. Man kann gut bei lokalen Händlern und im Supermarkt einkaufen und selber kochen. Mittwochs und Freitags verkauft ein kleiner Fischhändler und ab und zu ein Gemüsehändler mit einem kleinen Auto direkter am Hafen. Es gibt einen Automaten für die Rückgabe der Plastikflaschen (Pfand), wo man sich auch die Plastikflaschen für überschaubare Centbeträge wieder befüllen kann. Sehr clever, da dies enorm an Plastik einspart. Schön wäre es, wenn man eine kleine Espressokanne für gemahlenen Espresso bereitstellen könnte. Die Pads verursachen schon sehr viel Abfall.

Nous avons passé à deux un très beau séjour à Malte dans l’appartement de Bert. L’appartement est proche des restaurants et des commerces essentiels. La plage de St Thomas Bay est à 15 minutes à pied. Nous tenons à remercier Bert pour sa réactivité et l’ensemble de ses conseils qui ont permis de profiter de l’île.

Ďakujeme veľmi pekne za úžasný pobyt. 😍 Cítili sme sa veľmi príjemne. Ubytovanie bolo čisté a vyzeralo presne ako na fotkách. Okolie bolo krásne a pokojné. Nablízku boli obchody a veľa reštaurácii. Poloha pri vode sa nám tiež veľmi páčila, bol tam krásny výhľad. Určite odporúčame! 🤍

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement. La terrasse avec vu sur le port est un véritable plus, très agréable ! Vous pouvez trouver tout le nécessaire dans l'appartement.

Logement fidèle à l’annonce. Il était propre et meublé avec goût. Le propriétaire est très réactif. Petite pensée sympathique (limonade, gâteau apéritif) à l’arrivée. Penser à ne pas prendre la clé qui se situe dans la boîte à l’entrée de l’immeuble.

What a wonderful place! As we arrived later it was hard to tell during the evening what the surrounding was like arriving. The next morning we definitely got well adjusted and acquainted to the area very quickly. Everything is central, including the bus and with all the restaurants, the piers, grocery stores etc nearby you can’t beat this place at all! Bert was wonderful to connect with and he kept in contact with me throughout the process. We were definitely sad to Leave but will be back!

Séjour Excellent. Le quartier est vraiment l'un de nos préférés sur Malte. On a la plus belle vue que l'on puisse avoir depuis le logement ! Des commerces à 2 min à pieds et ouverts jusqu'à minuit ! Le logement est ultra propre et bien rangé ! Bert a été hyper réactif à chacun de nos messages. Il nous a même permis de prolonger le séjour d'une nuitée et nous a fait confiance pour le paiement etc. Le seul hic du logement c'est l'isolation dans la chambre, on entend bcp le passage dans la rue mais nous, on était tellement fatiguées le soir que ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Mais c'est une chose à savoir si vous avez le sommeil léger ! Le lit est top, on y a dormi comme des bébés, soutien ferme et de qualité ! Le seul truc qui nous a manqué c'est un grand canapé où l'on aurait pu allonger nos jambes après nos longues journées de marche ! 😅 Mais sinon, tout était parfait, on s'y sentait comme chez soi ! C'était parfait. Si je reviens à Malte, je resigne direct chez Bert ! 😊 Merci pour tout !

Apartment was clean, well equipped and easy to find. Location could not be more convenient and overlooks the promenade with restaurants and cafes practically at your doorstep. Host is extremely responsive, proactive with communication and made effort to accommodate my requests. As other reviews have mentioned, the window insulation in the bedroom is thin so you will hear traffic from the road especially at early hours but nothing earplugs can't solve. Otherwise my overall experience was very positive and I would have extended by stay if there was availability!

L’host Bert è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Ha fornito a me e alla mia fidanzata tutte le informazioni necessarie per trascorrere al meglio il soggiorno, inviandoci una lista di attività da poter svolgere, luoghi favolosi da visitare e ristoranti tipici del luogo dove poter andare . Parcheggio gratuito vicino all’alloggio. La casa rispecchiava totalmente la descrizione, rifornita al meglio. Abbiamo trascorso davvero un ottimo soggiorno, ve la consigliamo!

We really enjoyed our stay with Bert, the host was very accommodating and helpful. The place was very clean and very homely. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Bert is a lovely host and the apartment has a beautiful view. It also had all needed amenities, including a coffee machine, teas, coffees, washing machine etc. Unfortunately the apartment has no elevator so when I arrived it was very hard for me to carry my big luggage, alone up quite narrow stairs. Further the bedroom window is on a very loud road and the window is not at all sound proof. So for ten nights, it was as if I was sleeping in the middle of traffic.

Lägenheten var mycket ren och trevlig, nära till allt; stranden promenad ca 10min, bussar till Valletta, restauranger, etc. Bert gav massor av bra tips och var snabb på att svara på mail, mycket tjänstvillig och vänlig. ☺️ Om man är ljuskänslig är lägenheten inte så bra; på båda sidorna om lägenheten är det mycket trafik och ena sidan dessutom restauranger med kvällsöppet. För min del gjorde det inget; jag sover som en stock och hade inget emot ljudet. Men för de som behöver tystnad är inte detta rätt lägenhet. Förutom detta är det ett fantastisk ställe som jag ger 5 stjärnor! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Erg fijn apartement. Op twee minuten lopen van het busstation en naast enkele hele goede restaurants. 10 minuten lopen naar een stukje zee waar je fijn kan zwemmen. Bert gaf veel goede tips over het openbaar vervoer en activiteiten in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader!

The apartment was amazing! very clean, very tidy and an amazing view. We arrived at midnight but luckily for us there was coffee, thea and basic suplies so we didnt have to go to a supermarket right away which was very nice. The area is relatively calm but at night there is a nice ambiance around the bay. To see the island i recommend renting a scooter or e bike, but taking a Bolt was also very cheap (11€ to get to Sant Julians bay). 10/10, would definitely recommend this apartment! *A must see in the area is the abandoned hotel which has an amazing view of the city from the roof!!

Insgesamt nettes Appartement. Im Schlafzimmer war es recht laut aufgrund der Straße. Balkonmöbel unbequem, aber wenn man viel unterwegs ist alles in Ordnung. In der Gegend ist es nicht sehr touristisch (Mai), nach Valetta z.B. über 1 Stunde Busfahrt.

Das Appartement ist wirklich sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Das Bad war ein wenig klein. Dieser Makel wurde aber von dem atemberaubenden Blick vom Balkon auf den kleinen Hafen und aufs offene Meer mehr als ausgeglichen. :) Einzig die Lautstärke von der Straße ist störend. Hier wären schalldichte Fenster hilfreich. Das Kochequipment war ausreichend. Bedarf allerdings einer Erneuerung. Eine sehr nette Geste war das hinterlassen von ein wenig Kaffee und Wasser zur Begrüßung. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen :)

Leuke uitvalsbasis om Malta te verkennen. Openbaar vervoer is zeer gemakkelijk te gebruiken. Leuk stadje met al nodige winkels. Appartement was voorzien van de basis benodigdheden maar er werd ook hedacht aan het comfort bij aankomst ( fles water, douchelgel aanwezig)

Bert is the great host, communication was great. The apartment was clean and tidy. Few things could have been fixed before renting but it was not an issue. Nice surroundings and good public transport to explore the Island. Nice bars and restaurants not far away. Good experience.

I recently spent 10 days in Bert's apartment, and overall, it was a positive experience. The apartment boasts a beautiful view of the marina and is conveniently located with easy access to numerous restaurants and essentials. The inclusion of a washing machine was handy, and Bert's responsiveness as a host was a big plus. The main downsides were the noise levels, as the apartment is surrounded by streets and has other Airbnb units above and below, and the small size of the bathroom. Despite these issues, the great location, stunning view, and Bert's helpfulness made my stay enjoyable. I'd consider this place again for its conveniences and beautiful setting.

The apartment is located right in the harbour of Marsaskala, therefore the view from the balcony is really beautiful and there are various options for restaurants and bars right around the corner. However, since the windows are not 100% soundproof, you can hear what's going on in the street - even late at night on weekends. In addition, you can also hear your neighbors. The kitchen has all the utensils needed for cooking some light meals. There is a coffee machine, a huge fridge, a cooker, an oven, a kettle, etc. The bathroom is small, but it has everthing you need and there is even a window to air the room after showering. Besides the noise, there was one more thing that bothered us: mould on the ceiling above the shower and there seems to be some kind of water damage in the living room - at least the wall was repainted twice and the second paint doesn't look good.

Nice apartment suite 2 person. Lovely view from the balcony. Quiet and close to busses, restaurants just under the balcony there is a really good one! Easy to find parking if you have one. For free as well. Air conditioning perfect and silent. Bed very comfortable. The kitchen is not that well equipped some more pots and pans would be nice and some more tools. But worked out for ous that did not cook that much. Clean basic apartment! Good choice!

precioso apartamento, con todas las comodidades que ofrecía, lo único regular a destacar es una reparación en la pared del salón que no estaba terminada. por lo demás, todo muy limpio y correcto a destacar las vistas, son inmejorables, disfrutamos mucho de la terraza. La zona está muy bien comunicada para moverte por la isla en bus, tiene varias paradas justo abajo. la zona está llena de bares y comercios frecuentados en la mayoría por locales, algo que me gusta cuando viajo es adentrarme en su día a día. La isla enamora y este apartamento suma. el trato del anfitrión en todo momento ha sido impecable y atento, sin duda volveremos.

Nice clean place in a perfect location.

A clean, bright flat in the heart of Marsasakla. The space had every thing we needed to cook etc. Nice balcony to watch the world go by and see the sun coming up over the harbour. It was a lovely restful holiday. Even though we were above some bars and restaurants, the apartment was very quiet at night.

Wir hatten viel Spaß in der Wohnung. Um die Ecke sind Bushaltestellen wo man überall hin kommt (mit umsteigen) und super gute Restaurants die Abends auch lange geöffnet haben. Sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bis 23:00 Uhr. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen:) Bert ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Séjour parfait, l’appartement correspondait parfaitement à l’annonce. On s’est senti très bien. L’emplacement est top car la ville est calme et à proximité des commerces bars et restaurant. L’hote Bert est très sympathique, toujours disponible pour des recommandations ou de l’aide. Merci beaucoup

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Marsaskala ! L'appartement est exactement comme sur les photos, joliment décoré, très propre, pratique et fonctionnel. Nous avions tout à portée de main, un arrêt de bus juste en bas, des magasins et restaurants à proximité. Avec les très bons conseils de Bert nous avons pu profiter et découvrir des spécialités culinaires locales. Bert est un hôte très sympathique qui a correspondu par message avec nous tout au long du séjour.

Apartmen is great located, with beautiful view, true to photos. Haven’t met Bert, but he sent us all necessary informations before and during our stay. Only downfall is that apartment could be cleaner.

L'appartement de Bert est vraiment très bien situé et agréable. De nombreuseses lignes de bus à proximité. Très facile d'accès avec toutes les informations nécessaires communiquées à l'avance par Bert avec un accès à codes. Je recommande vivement l'appartement. Séjour de 7 jours,appartement très propre, bien localisé (bars,resto,et supermarchés),balcon avec une belle vue,la chambre est un peu bruyante,et le lavabo très petit dans la sdb. Bert est disponible et très réactif.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre appartement. Notre coup coeur a été pour la magnifique vue (fidèle aux photos) avec petite terrasse. l'appartemnt est proche des arrêts de bus, bars/restaurants et des commerces (juste en bas de l'immeuble). L'appartement permet de visiter l'île très facilement. L´hôte a été réactif. Merci.

Nice apartment for a good price. Cool view of the bay from the balcony. Far from Valletta, so you'll need transportation (taxi is not cheap in Malta). A bit noisy bedroom for bad sleepers like me. I wish I could have more towels and extra linens, when one should stay for a longer period than 2-3 nights. There was a problem with permanently wet floor in the bathroom (no drainage or floor heating). The water pressure was weak in the shower cabin. No convenient place to put toiletries on in the bathroom. I loved the AC system which can be switched to heating, especially necessary in winter evenings. The bus stop is just 50 metres away, very efficient food delivery opportunities.

Cozy apartment with beautiful sea view. Right in the middle of the town. Bus stops accross the street. Sandy beach 15mins walk. Perfect for couples or small families.

Great apartment and location. The view in the photos is real and was so nice to wake up and look out onto the bay front view while having breakfast or an evening night cap. I've actually never talked to the landlord because everything was so seamless I never needed to! The apartment was easy to get access to, the wifi worked, and everything was simple to find in the kitchen! One thing we noticed, and it may have been noted in the listing, but we didn't see a microwave in the kitchen...so don't buy popcorn...but otherwise, there was a pot and a stove, so heating up a leftover meal was easy!

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Check-in ist unkompliziert. Die Busse sind gut zu erreichen und der Strand ist auch nicht weit entfernt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Ottimo soggiorno. La casa è molto carina e per due perfetta. Gli arredamenti sono minimali ma tutti nuovi ed è molto pulita. C’è il condizionatore che ci ha salvati dal caldo di agosto e una lavatrice/asciugatrice molto utile. Come posizione è nel centro di Marsaskala quindi hai autobus, supermercati e locali sotto casa. Aggiungerei solo un mobiletto portaoggetti nel bagno ma per il resto tutto molto bene. L’host è molto disponibile e risponde velocemente in caso di problemi.

It is a very nice and new Appartment directly at the port of Marsaskala. There are a lot of restaurants and bars close by and even possibilities to swim. The next 'real' beach is just 15min to walk.

The host went out and beyond for me so I can surprise my fiancé! The place itself looks really nice and has everything one might need, especially the kitchen. The location could not be better. I highly recommend it 😊

Séjour de 10 jours dans cet appartement. Agréable séjour, il est très bien situé, très bien desservi par les transports en commun. L’appartement est très bien équipé ( Machine à laver, lave vaisselle, fer à repasser etc ) et très propre à notre arrivée. La Climatisation dans le salon et la chambre était très appréciable pendant notre séjour. Nous avons également pu profiter d’un agréable petit balcon avec une belle vue sur le port de Marsaskala. L’hôte se rend disponible et répond rapidement à nos questions. Je recommande !!

Super petit appartement très pratique et tout équipée et avec un petit balcon donnant sur la mer qui est super sympa pour les apéros. Les propriétaires sont super sympathique et arrangeant, ils nous ont même mis à disposition une poussette pour le bébé. On recommande !
