Great place to stay and a great location

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni in un appartamento confortevole, bagni spaziosi e fornito di tutto l’occorrente per il nostro soggiorno. L’ host è stata sempre disponibile alle nostre richieste e ci ha fornito tante informazioni su come trascorrere questi giorni. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

My favorite AirBnB so far. Evrrything was perfect for me and my family. The location, the lay out, the interior. We even recieved cookies and wine during our arrival. Coffee pods and other things were provided more than needed. I would love to stay here in again when given rhe chance.

Bardzo ładne i duże mieszkanie. W mieszkaniu panował porządek a kontakt z właścicielem był bardzo dobry. Na powitanie czekały na nas przekąski oraz butelka wina. Mieszkanie ma dwa piętra oraz dwie łazienki, więc spokojnie możecie z podróżować w dwie rodziny. Lokalizacja mieszkania jest bardzo dobra, idealna dla rodzin z malutkimi dziećmi, które nie potrzebują hałasu. Jedyna wada mieszkania to brak naturalnego światła.

Pobyt byl velmi příjemný a krásný. Když se vrátím na Maltu, určitě objednám pobyt znovu.

We had a great time at this place. It is perfectly located in the centre of Birgu but very quiet as all windows look to a small back yard (this does make the space a bit dark but we didn’t mind at all). The house is very comfortable, with anything you might need for a pleasant stay, was super clean, and tastefully decorated. We wanted to stay in Valletta first but decided to go for Birgu instead and didn’t regret it at all - we found this to be a much better base to explore the three cities and Valletta, while enjoying its peacefulness and authentic charm. There were many restaurants around the corner as well, and the gondolas to go to Valletta are 5 minutes away. Communication with hosts was great and they allowed for a late check-out, which was much appreciated. Warmly recommended!

Fine rooms in a quiet area without many tourists.

Pięknie i czysto oraz fajna lokalizacja

Mieszkanie w centrum pięknego miasteczka. Jedyny minus to brak okien z widokiem. Mieszkanie czyste i nowocześnie urządzone.

Lokalizacja jest świetna. Gospodarze zadbali o dobry nastrój - czekało na nas wino i przekąski. Kontakt, zameldowanie i mieszkanie były takie jak być powinny. Czysto i przestronnie. Okna wychodzą na mury i wewnętrzną część budynku więc jest dość ciemno, za to bardzo cicho. Idealna baza za niewysoką cenę. Polecam.

Had a wonderful vacation with no problems

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut gelegen, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Außerdem ist sie sehr geräumig. Negativ zu bemerken ist, dass keine Fenster wirklich nach Außen gehen, geschweige denn ein "Blick" vorhanden ist. Der angegebene "Garten" ist ein freudloser Innenschacht. Auch war keine Geschirrspülmaschine vorhanden. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und eine gute Zeit gehabt.

Bert’s place is in a very convenient location. Great to have 2 bathrooms. However there is absolutely no view as implied. All windows look onto a very small internal courtyard so the apartment is quite dark. The lounge is up the spiral staircase and not very inviting. However the kitchen is good and as a base in Malta it was great as it is very close to everything. Just not a great space to relax in.

Bert’s lovely property is nestled in the quiet and quaint streets of Birgu. It had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. It’s only a few minutes walk to the square with restaurants and cafes. Beyond that, there are waterfront restaurants and transport links to Valletta. All in all a fabulous stay and will be returning in the future.

we enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was in a really nice area and everything was as described. there was some nice treats waiting for us, which was a really nice welcome. We could walk to nearby restaurants. Bert was very helpful the night that we arrived. thank you Bert you were a great help that night! The marina area was very nice and lots of beautiful places to .

Cazarea din poze arata foarte bine, insa realitatea nu este aceeasi. Cateva aspecte care ne-au nemultumit: • Daca doriti lumina naturala si aerisire, nu este posibil, deoarece geamurile sunt centrate in mijlocul cladirii. • Exista infiltratii de apa, iar curatenia nu este perfecta. • Mirosul lasa de dorit: intr-una dintre bai miroase extrem de urat, iar aerul este foarte inchis. • A fost nevoie sa cumparam hartie igienica si servetele, pentru ca am primit doar cateva suluri foarte subtiri (probabil cea mai ieftina hartie). Un aspect pozitiv este zona in care este situata cazarea: absolut superba.

Séjour très agréable . Logement très bien climatisé et correspond à la description et aux photos fournis. Bert est un hôte attentif et prend soin de ses hôtes. Merci encore.

We loved our stay. The house is in a perfect location. Birgu itself is quiet and beautiful, and it is only a 5 minute walk to get a water taxi over to Valetta. There is a lovely swimming spot really close to the house which was a bonus. Not many places to buy groceries nearby but a taxi to the nearest supermarket wasn’t expensive. The house itself is lovely and just as described. The kitchen is well equipped and the air con kept us all lovely and cool. I would 100% stay again.

Eine super Unterkunft, wenn man sich entspannt die Inseln anschauen möchte und dabei eine ruhige, nicht zu touristische Gegend sucht.

The area is lovely, located next to the port, which is especially pleasant for evening walks. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it's a great place to stay for a first-time stay in Malta.

Der Check-in war unkompliziert und der Gastgeber gut erreichbar. Die Küche ist schön und gut ausgestattet. Leider wirkt das Haus älter als auf den Bildern. Zu Beginn war es recht stickig, und es gab Probleme mit der Klimaanlage – anfangs kam ein verschimmelter Geruch. Der Freund des Gastgebers kam zwar vorbei, war aber herablassend und nahm das Anliegen zunächst nicht ernst. Das WLAN reichte nicht bis ins obere Zimmer; erst auf Nachfrage erfuhren wir, dass es einen zweiten Router gibt. Der Innenhof wirkte eher wie ein kleiner Abstellplatz und war anders als erwartet. Die Treppe zum oberen Zimmer ist sehr eng und wackelig, was mit Koffern schwierig war. Trotz der Mängel war der Aufenthalt insgesamt angenehm.

The apartment is exactly as shown, no surprises other the good ones about the neighbourhood and the access to so much to do as well as being in the centre of the fascinating history of Malta. The owner/ operator really made the stay wonderful in every aspect.

Wir waren zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Bert. Für 4 Leute ideal mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Badezimmern (selten!), die Küche haben wir nicht genutzt, aber diese schien zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber zu sein, so wie auf den Bilder. Wir waren eine Woche dort und da es recht kühl war, waren wir froh, dass wir mit den Klimaanlagen etwas heizen konnten. Die Lage in Birgu (wunderschöner Vorort!) ist top, die Nachbarschaft ruhig und sehr freundlich. Die Anbindung durch Bus oder Fähre nach Valletta und anderen Zielen auf der Insel ist fußläufig zu erreichen und wirklich, man braucht kein Auto um in Malta unterwegs zu sein. Der Vermieter antwortet sehr schnell, immer freundlich, es gab viele Tipps zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.....den gemütlichen Innenhof haben wir leider auch nicht gefunden :-), aber alles gut, es wäre eh zu frisch gewesen, dort zu sitzen.

Booked due to the location as really wanted to stay in Birgu for our Malta trip it was a great location for seeing Birgu and then getting the ferry to Valetta Clear instructions for check in and lots of helpful travel recommendations prior to our check in. It was lovely and clean when we arrived, nice and welcoming. Air con was good Had everything we needed to make a few meals We were travelling with our 11 month old and it was safe everywhere for a baby we just had to block off the stairs for her Thanks for the highchair and travel cot Great stay overall - thank you

Had a fabulous stay. House was exactly as described and was very spacious for 4 of us! Very handy for exploring Birgu and Valetta! Can’t wait to stay again!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Unter dem Zusatz Innenhof hatte ich mir etwas anderes vorgestellt, dieser ist leider nicht nutzbar. Man kann sich aber jederzeit mit Stühlen vor die Tür setzen. Alles in allem ist die Lage super, man ist blitzschnell zu boot in Valletta und kann die ganze Insel mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bereisen. Die Kommunikation ist schnell und gut. Es wird schnell reagiert. Die Nachbarn sowie alle die uns begegnet sind waren immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Bert’s place was a nice home to stay. You have all you need and was what we were looking for! The location is very good in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful!

We were really happy with our stay in the Appartement. It was big enough, the Kitchen was nice and the beds were comfy. The Location is really nice and I think that Birgu is underrated. It Looks a lot like mdina but less crowded, and the harbour was not far away. Check In and Check out was really simple and flexible. Also, Bert and Jacob were fantastic hosts. Really nice guys who were friendly and really helpful. Before we arrived they informed us about what we can do in Malta and what we have to Pay attention to regarding the appartment. Whenever me and my friends had questions Bert and Jacob would give quick and helpful answers which would be a perfect solution to the Problem. All in all we we are more than happy with our stay in this Appartement.

Ubytovanie bolo krásne. Poloha ubytovania vyhovovala naším potrebám. Robili sme si rôzne výlety. V pešej dostupnosti bola zastávka autobusu verejnej dopravy, ktorú sme tiež využívali na cestovanie po ostrove.

Ο οικοδεσπότης μας παρείχε όλες τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες για τη διαμονή στη Μάλτα. Έδωσε χρήσιμα tips για εστιατόρια, must see αξιοθέατα και δραστηριότητες και παρείχε σαφείς πληροφορίες άφιξης. Απαντούσε πολύ γρήγορα σε όλα τα μηνύματα και τις απορίες μας. Το διαμέρισμα είναι σε μια πολύ όμορφη γειτονιά, εύκολα προσβάσιμη και ήσυχη. Ο χώρος ήταν πολύ καθαρός και ακριβώς όπως τις φωτογραφίες. Από τις καλύτερες εμπειρίες σε airbnb. Το προτείνω 100% για διακοπές στη Μαλτα!

Много приятно местенце, разположено в живописната част на Биргу и в близост до забележителности и ресторанти . Изключително любезни домакини, които ни предоставиха пълна информация и бяха готови за съдействие във всяка минута. Благодарим Ви, беше чудесно!

Very nice location in the city of Birgu near the marina with good restaurants and enjoyable promenada. Even if the streets are narrow and one way, it is easy to find a parking spot in the area. The description of the house was really accurate. The small interior courtyard and a bit dusty floors were the only minus.

Bardzo ciekawa opcja na nocleg :) z kimatem i po sąsiedzku :) urokiwe uliczki :) w pobiżu restauracje :) prom do Valetty :) sklep rybny w którym przez dwa dni można kupić na wynos świeże owoce morza i ryby:) mozliwośc parkowania na parkingu miejskim :) W apartamencie można poczuć sie komfortowo :) dwa piętra :) Kontakt z włascicielem super :) Na drugi dzień czuliśmy się jak w domu:)

L’appartement est très beau, il est bien situé pour la mobilité. Le quartier est calme et le voisinage adorable. L’host est très disponible et a fourni un excellent travail pour nous aider à visiter Malte au mieux. Je recommande fortement!!
