was decent stay the only issue we really had was the toilet and the shower neither really functioned well

I recommend this space for anyone who is wanting something that has quick and easy access to local spots, restaurants, shops etc., whilst also offering some quiet away from the tourist hotspots. Everything we needed was in walking distance and the views from the terrace were amazing! Solea Holiday Homes were very responsive to us throughout our trip, they also were very accommodating to time alterations.

Jak ktoś chce wynająć samochód to tylko Toyota Aygo (mini rozmiar) inne się nie mieszczą w tych uliczkach :)))) Spokojna okolica. Spędziliśmy cudowny tydzień ! Dzięki wielkie ! Zastanawia mnie tylko czemu właściciel nie zamieścił zdjęć wspaniałego kościoła, który znajduje się tuż naprzeciw tarasu/ apartamentu ???? Czyżby poprawność polityczna ??? !!! Przepiękny kościół !!!! - dzwoni tylko o 8 rano i wcale nie przeszkadza - wspaniała budowla :))) Ja tam spałem przy meczetach, cerkwiach i innych świątyniach i nigdy mi to nie przeszkadzało - ale ja to ja :)))

It was so relaxing. The apartment is a great size for a short break and everything you need is provided. The communication with the hosts was really good. We had a small issue with the air conditioning but they provided a solution for us really quickly and followed up to make sure we stayed comfortable. Would definitely recommend! One small thing would be the step between the living area and the kitchen. It’s about a foot of height difference but perfectly blends in colour. If you aren’t concentrating, it could be very easy to hurt yourself. Perhaps just a small strip along the edge to highlight it would be a good idea.

The rental was in a top location. We spent 10 days there in December. While the weather was not as warm as we’d like it to be. And when rainy sitting out was not really an option. The location is within a very walkable area. Love the choices of restaurants nearby and the hosts recommendations. Everything is roughly 10/15 minutes walk away. Be aware of the stairs inside though as we didn’t factor that in. Overall happy with the place. It’s a good base in sliema area!

Stylish apparent well appointed with everything you would need, we made good use of the kitchen each evening. Quite local area with everything you need near by with good bus connections. Really comfortable bed. Apartment and building well looked after and clean. The highlight is the size and view from the large Terrance that gives an external room with a fantastic view. Really unique. Great supportive host everything worked like clockwork for entry and stay instructions.

Great apartment that was perfectly located for us to experience Malta and specifically Valetta and surrounding area. The host was very proactive and communicative and whilst we didn't need anything during our stay, I'm sure they would have assisted with anything asked of them. The view from the apartment to Valetta is amazing and perfect at any time of day or night. The location is in a lovely quiet area making it ideal for a relaxing break. It's a short walk from buses and ferries to allow you to experience wider afield with ease. The apartment being on the third floor, it's worth pointing out to people that might struggle with multiple stairs that this place might not be for you, but for anyone else the stairs are worth it for the view and peaceful location.

We loved this place! The roof terrace and view over Valletta were fantastic - a great spot for having breakfast and watching the sun rise over the city. Everything was clean and worked as expected. Bert's communication was great

We loved our stay. The penthouse was a perfect base to explore Malta. We loved staying in a quiet residential area yet only a short walk away we were immersed in the bustle of the seafront, restaurants and shops. We were directly behind the most stunning church, currently under renovation but it was a joy to watch the restoration of the domes on a daily basis. The views from the penthouse terrace across to Valletta were just magical. The perfect setting to start and end the day. Bert was an exceptional host who kept in touch from the outset . All the recommendations he gave to us ahead of our stay were really good and helped us plan our trip to perfection. Thank you! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Sliema er et flott sted å bo, med masse sjarm, og det er et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å oppdage hovedstaden Valetta og Malta for øvrig. Alt er i bare noen minutters gangavstand, fra badesteder, cafeer, butikker og restauranter til fergekai og bussholdeplass, samtidig som leiligheten ligger i et rolig boligstrøk hvor man kan delta i det lokale livet (f anbefales Popp Social Club med lifemusikk mm.) Utsikten fra leiligheten og terrassen er simpelthen magisk. Sol fra den står opp til den går ned, med et bambustak som gir godt med skygge. En majestetisk kirke som nærmeste nabo, og lyden av kirkeklokkene opplevde vi bare positivt. Det ble utført noe arbeid på kirketårnene, som vi ikke syntes var sjenerende i det hele tatt. Serviceteamet med Bert i spissen ordnet fort opp i noen småting, slik at vi kunne nyte sol og livet på Malta. Vi kan anbefale leiligheten på det sterkeste og kommer gjerne tilbake!

A fantastic stay! The location is great, only a short walk to the Sliema waterfront with fabulous views of Valletta. Watching the Valletta canons and fireworks from the terrace was a highlight. The apartment was well equipped and tidy. We were sent clear check-in advice, as well as recommendations regarding local services and amenities. Bert was very responsive and helped us with all of our queries. We must also thank Alex for his prompt response and help with a minor maintenance issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Malta.

Die Kommunikation mit ihm war von Anfang an sehr gut - er hat uns schon vor dem Check-in nützliche Infos geschickt, die uns den Aufenthalt erleichtert haben. Während unseres Aufenthalts war Bert immer erreichbar und hat uns bei einem Problem mit der Klimaanlage schnell und effizient geholfen. Innerhalb von nur 30 Minuten war ein Handwerker da, der sich dem Problem gewidmet hat. Bert hat sich später auch persönlich das Problem angeschaut, um sicherzustellen, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach unbezahlbar! Jeden Morgen wurden wir von den Kirchenglocken geweckt, was eine charmante und authentische Erfahrung war. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet und enthält viele nützliche Gegenstände wie z.B Steckdosenadapter oder ein Bügeleisen, die uns den Aufenthalt erleichtert haben. 100% Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Bert’s apartment in Sliema. From the moment we booked, Bert was incredibly helpful and proactive — he provided clear instructions for accessing the unit and a thoughtful guide to local spots, which made settling in seamless. The apartment itself felt like a little oasis. Spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the patio and bedroom views overlooking Valletta — absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours out there, sipping coffee in the mornings and unwinding in the evenings, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, yet perfectly located. We could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes and reach our favorite dive shop in just 15. It truly felt like home, and we’re grateful for the care and attention Bert put into making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, scenic base in Malta.

This place was fantastic. There was construction happening on the church next door to our roof deck, which was kinda funny because the workers were literally right there. But this is temporary. Everything else was great. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful apartment in Sliema really worth the price for a week’s stay. We enjoyed evenings on the beautiful terrace overlooking Valetta and the location was easy to find and to access the main sights from. The ferry at the bottom of the road or a Bolt easily take you to Valetta. Highly recommend!

A great place to be with the terrace a big draw. Getting into the property initially was problematic, but we had someone help us.

We had a amazing stay , Bert went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome- thank you so much for the special birthday cake, balloons etc, you made birthday girl feel very special . The penthouse was awesome, very clean and close to everything, good restaurants and just a short all to the ferries or to the beach for a swim… will definitely return to stay here again if it’s available . Bert’s place was extremely peaceful with amazing views of Valletta across the water. Place was clean and tidy with all the amenities you need as a base to explore Malta. The apartment is a 10min walk to ferries and other buses. We loved having the spacious rooftop terrace to enjoy relaxed mornings and make our own breakfast and coffees as well as enjoy beautiful sunset views with wine in the evening. There was an issue with the air conditioning when we arrived however Bert and his team worked quickly to resolve the issue and were extremely responsive. Appreciated Bert’s clear video instructions on how to enter the building which made us feel comfortable as we arrived late in the evening. Quick walk with loads of restaurant options nearby. Overall a fantastic stay, would recommend as the roof terrace is a standout feature. Thank you Bert and team :)

Excellent location for exploring Sliema. Nice apartment. Street parking with our rented car not a problem, but luckily for us we had a small car.

my wife and I stayed at the property for a week and we would definitely stay here again! it is in a beautiful location and it would be hard to find better views in Sliema from the amazing patio. Bert and Jacob were very responsive and got back to us within a few minutes.

Bert was fantastic responsive and gave clear informative instructions. We were kindly allowed to enter apartment before our check in time which was so appreciated as we had been travelling since midnight the night before. The apartment excelled our expectations, was clean, beds comfortable and the most spectacular view from both the terrace and the bedroom. We were lucky enough to be able to sit ok the terrace to view the Valletta fireworks from the comfort of the apartment. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was perfect

A perfect place for two people. Very quietly location, but still close to everything. Wonderful terrace with a fantastic view over the harbor and to Valletta.

A perfect base to explore beautiful Valletta with the nearby ferry and great local restaurants for the evening. The bonus was the rooftop terrace and the fabulous view! Everything we needed. A lovely shower, comfy bed and WiFi. We walked around the walls of Valletta on the first day and avoided the crowds. We had a delicious seafood dinner at The Seafood Market shop and grill (Michelin listed so not cheap but local). We used the excellent Bolt taxi service the next day to get to lovely Mdina and Rabat and enjoyed the catacombs and the cathedral too. Excellent dinner in Valletta in the evening at The Kings Own club. Great quiet location with a local bakery and friendly locals.

Heel mooi appartement met een super vriendelijke host! Genoten van ons verblijf samen met ons zoontje van 3 maanden :-)! Parkeerplaats vinden is een uitdaging en duurde jammer genoeg vaak lang.. verder zou ik het zeker aanraden! Het is centraal gelegen om het eiland te verkennen en op wandelafstand van winkels en restaurants !

Wir haben uns in dem Appartement sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist alles da was man braucht und die Aussicht ist toll. Man ist schnell zu Fuß am Meer und an den Bushaltestellen oder an der Fähre nach Valetta. Bert hat immer schnell geantwortet und bei Fragen weitergeholfen.

We chose Where Sky meets History for its gorgeous photos of church tops, the panoramic views and penthouse terrace. They did not disappoint. The apartment itself was perfect for us. Everything we used was in excellent working condition. Our host responded quickly to any questions we had and was very welcoming. When we return to Malta we would definitely consider staying here again.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, insbesondere um Valetta und Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts und alles war in bestem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die große Dachterrasse mit dem grandiosen Ausblick ist ein echter Traum! Lediglich Liegestühle auf der Terrasse würden das Ganze noch toppen! Bert ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der immer prompt auf Fragen reagierte. Besonders zuvorkommend fand ich das Wasser und die leckere maltesische Limo im Kühlschrank sowie einen ersten Kaffeevorrat, so dass man sich mit dem Einkauf ein bisschen Zeit lassen und erst mal die Terrasse genießen konnte. Auch waren viele Adapter für die Steckdosen vorhanden und ein dt. Mehrfachstecker bereits installiert! Die Wohnung ist sowohl im Ganzen als auch im Detail großartig! Wir können sie auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würden beim nächsten Malta-Urlaub wieder kommen!

Besonders hervorzuheben ist Bert als Gastgeber: Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an unkompliziert, er war stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Amazing loft with great views! It is airy, bright and everywhere you look you feel inspired: Valletta or the beautiful cathedral just on the other side of the street. It was gorgeous! The place is clean and has everything you need. It made us feel at home straight away. Bert was very responsive and accommodated all our needs. Highly recommend. It is in my best places list and if we go back to Malta we will chose it again.

Diese Unterkunft verdient mehr als 5 Sterne. Die Aussicht ist einmalig. Die Altstadt von Sliema hat ihren ganz eigenen Charme und es ist herrlich ruhig in der Nacht. Wir haben immer mit offenem Fenster schlafen können. Wir hatten etwas Angst vor den Kirchenglocken direkt vor unserer Haustür aber das war ganz dezent und man hat es niemals störend wahr genommen. Die Lage ist toll, man konnte alles zu Fuß erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung für diese tolle Unterkunft.

Sehr schönes und modernes Airbnb! Die Aussicht vom Schlafzimmer und auch von der grossen Terrasse ist der Wahnsinn! Alles war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wohnung war etwas schwierig zu finden, da im Beschreibungsvideo nicht dieselbe Türe zu sehen ist, wie sie vor Ort anzufinden ist.

We loved Bert’s apartment. Hidden away in the back streets of Silema, we felt like locals, just what we like when on a city break. Exactly as described and shown in the photos . We loved the open plan space, bright and airy feel and large sliding doors on to the big rooftop terrace with beautiful views over the church and rooftops to Valletta. Bert’s accommodation was great! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings. Bert provided us with lots of information before our stay which was helpful with planning. He was also very flexible with the check-in and the check-out which was much appreciated!

An amazing place to stay. Fantastic views from the rooftop patio, great view of the Friday night fireworks display in Valletta. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, well equipped.

The apartment in Sliema was superb and exceeded our expectations. It’s in a lovely residential area but only 5 minutes’ walk to the shops and restaurants on the seafront. The apartment had everything we wanted and we loved the roof terrace with a great view over to Valletta – perfect for breakfast and evening cocktails. Bert organised taxis for us and this worked well and was a very reasonable price. Check in was straightforward and Bert sent us lots of useful information during our stay. We had a wonderful 5 days and look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Excellent peaceful top floor apartment with an amazing balcony over the surrounding area and beautiful old church! Very clean, Bert was very responsive throughout the stay. Walking distance to the main front at Sliema and restaurants and cars but far enough away not to get any noise in the evening! Very cosy!

We stayed at Bert's place for 10 days and enjoyed it each day very much. You get a stunning view over the harbour and over to Valletta from your bed. What else do you need to start your day? The bed is super comfortable, the living room is nicely decorated, and the kitchen has everything you need to make coffee up to complete meals (if you want). Bert sent us lots of recommendations to eat out and each place was a 10/10. Definitely recommend to stay here and enjoy.

Fabulous place to stay in. Close to everything you could need. Fabulous Terrace with a stunning view. I could not fault the place BUT the best thing about our stay at this Penthouse was The Host , Bert. He was so plesant , friendly and helpful and although , we never met personally , his messages made it feel like he was a friend , making us feel so welcome and very attentive in making our stay one of the most pleasant experiences. Bert was great at providing info but not so good at responding. However if you can cope with 57 steps the view is amazing & would be fantastic being able to use table on terrace during the summer . We would return if in Malta again

Berts place was just the ticket. This was our first trip to Malta. The location of the flat was perfect - great views across Valetta and next to the beautiful church. Restaurants and shops an easy walk away and both shores of the sea in either direction. The flat had everything as described and was very comfortable. The balcony space is superb. Parking was a bit tricky and sometimes involved a bit of a walk. Thoroughly recommend this accomodation.

Die Wohnung ist super. Die Terrasse bietet einen sagenhaften Ausblick über Sliema und Valetta. Alle wichtigen Orte sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um Malta zu erkunden. Bei meiner Ankunft standen Wasser und Wein bereit, sodass man erstmal entspannt ankommen konnte. Die Kommunikation hat immer reibungslos funktioniert und ich habe zahlreiche nützliche Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Ich würde wiederkommen.

Wohnung war an sich schön, aber nicht den Preis wert. Leider war die Wohnung zum Check-In noch nicht bezugsfertig, was das Ankommen/den ersten Eindruck natürlich etwas weniger schön gemacht hat. Wir hatten in der Wohnung außerdem zwei Würmer an den Wänden und eine Kakerlake zu Besuch. Das kann natürlich in südlicheren Ländern vorkommen, schön war es dennoch nicht. Dazukommt, dass das Geschirr teilweise schmutzig war. Das Besteck der Küche war auf das Minimum beschränkt. Für den Preis hätten wir uns etwas mehr Ausstattung (ausreichend Müllbeutel, mehr als nur einen Abwaschschwamm und ein Geschirrtuch für zwei Wochen) erhofft. Auf Nachfrage haben wir aber schnell Nachschub bekommen. Was man wissen sollte: die Aussicht ist schön, jedoch läuten die Glocken der Kirche, die direkt vor der Dachterrasse ist, jede Stunde. Im Nachbarhaus hauste ein Mann, der sehr unangenehmen war. Jeden Abend betrunken und auf der Straße rumgeschrien.

The communication with Bert was outstanding from beginning to end. He is a great, very accommodating host, who is there to answer any questions you may have. The apartment is absolutely stunning — just like it looks on the photos, and it was sparkling clean. This Airbnb is outfitted with everything you could possibly need, but everything has its place, so there is zero clutter. The decor is modern yet warm, the place is spacious yet cozy. The bed is EXTREMELY comfortable and the apartment is very quiet, so restful sleep is guaranteed! The bathroom is great, the water pressure is excellent. As everyone mentioned the terrace and the views are incredible!!! The location is ideal. Close to the center and major sites, as well as stores and restaurants. I absolutely loved my stay here and could not recommend it more highly! Thank you very much, Bert! 💝

Our stay at Bert’s home was amazing! The apartment & view were exactly what we were after for our week in Malta. Bert was extremely helpful in sending a list of activities to do around Malta as well as close by shops etc that may be helpful near the apartment. If we were to come back to Malta, we would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at this penthouse. The views from the terrace and bedroom have to been seen in person to believe. The apartment was clean, had everything I needed and beautifully designed & furnished. The building doesn’t have a lift and is on the top floor of a 3-storey building, so that’s worth keeping in mind for accessibility and children. The area is very quiet but walking distance to buses, the beach and lists of thing to do. The air-con was also a dream in the heat. I will definitely stay there again next time I’m in Malta.

Absolutely to recommend both Bert as a host, but also the penthouse apartment. The view, the view, the view! The pictures are actually not showing how breathtaking and massive it is. Don't be scared about the small streets and corners. This is very typical Sliema as a city.

Lovely apartment with an amazing view and very efficient air-conditioning, and great communication from Bert with lots of info on nearby amenities A couple of sunbeds would make the roof terrace perfect. I must mention that if you have mobility problems this is probably not the apartment for you. After you open the front door there are three flights of stairs (57 steps in total). 5 minutes from ferry to Valletta which is a must see. If you are visiting for a week buy the €10 euro pass and travel as many times as you want. A great holiday on a beautiful island. Thanks Bert.

Geweldig verblijf in Sliema! We waren absoluut tevreden met ons verblijf in dit Airbnb-appartement in Sliema. Het appartement was erg fijn, goed onderhouden en met alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden. Elke ochtend konden we ontbijten vanaf het dakterras met het mooie uitzicht over de baai van Sliema en Valetta. De locatie was goed, met loopafstand na de boulevard van Sliema. Bert was altijd erg behulpzaam en goed te bereiken. Hij stond altijd voor ons klaar met waardevolle tips en aanbevelingen. We bevelen dit appartement ten zeerste aan en kijken ernaar uit om in de toekomst weer bij Bert te verblijven. Bedankt voor een geweldige ervaring!

Bert’s apartment is really cozy and beautiful. The terrace is enormous, and the panorama of Valleta is stunning. The bed was really comfortable. Bert was really kind, he gave a couple of good advice to us during our holiday. Absolutely recommended :)))

We absolutely loved our stay at this penthouse apartment. We couldn't fault the location, cleanliness and Bert's communication. The only drawback was the building work going on outside from early morning, but this won't be permanent. I would really recommend staying here as a couple - the terrace with beautiful views was a particular highlight.

Very nice stay in Bert's apartment. It is well located, close to the center and buses stops about 10 min by walk. The view is amazing, Bert is very helpful and reactive if you have any question.

If the view isn’t enough (and it is completely breathtaking), then Bert is the ultimate host with excellent advice to best prepare you for a fantastic experience in Malta. The apartment is hands-down the best for location and proximity to everything you need - yet serine and peaceful in the heart of a very cool suburb. We were a little worried with on street parking before we arrived but Bert assured us that we would find something with a little patience. 9O% of the time we were able to park within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. Overall an awesome holiday that we will never forget. Thanks a million Bert for making this a reality.

I just stayed a couple of days but I enjoyed the place. Clean, cozy apartment. Roof terrace with a beautiful view. Amazing view also from the bedroom. Quiet area and few minutes walk from the main street where you find restaurants, bars, shops. Self check-in. Great stay!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Das Penthouse war absolut perfekt in jeder Hinsicht. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Die Kommunikation mit Bert war sehr gut und liess keine Fragen offen. Definitiv sehr empfehlenswert!

Magnifique Penthouse, aussi beau que sur les photos. Près des transports et de l'animation. L'immeuble est situé sur une rue tranquille et le voisinage est paisible. La terrasse est superbe et permet de voir jusqu'à La Valette et il est possible d'admirer le soleil du lever jusqu'à son coucher. Une partie de la terrasse est ombragée pour profiter des repas à l'extérieur. L'équipement fourni est en excellente condition. Le lit est très confortable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'appartement de Bert et il est un hôte parfait. Nous serions très heureux de revenir ici. Merci pour tout !

Great apartment with a beautiful view. Really enjoyed my stay. The place had everything you need for a comfortable holiday with a large terrace. While it is only few minutes walk to the sea and all the restaurants it is a very quiet area. Self checkin was also another plus for me.

We had a great time in the apartment. We enjoyed the amazing view from the huge terrace and the apartment was clean and comfy. It is in a quiet area and in short walking distance to the waterfront and the ferries to Valetta. Bert was a a nice host and regularly corresponded during our stay. He agreed kindly to a later check out.We can recommand the apartment and we would come back!

Fantastic place for 2 for a stay in Malta. The roof terrace and view from the bed when you wake up in the morning is dimly stunning. Lovely host. So 5 stars!

The apartment is in a very nice and quiet area. And still a lot like restaurants, bars or public transport is reachable by foot. The apartment has an amazing terrace and a great view. We enjoyed the stay a lot. Communication with Bert was easy and we got all information we needed

The apartment is very spacious & comfortable and light & airy with patio doors in both the bedroom & kitchen living area. The large terrace has extensive views & great for eating outside or relaxing. Cushions are supplied for the outside seating area. There are also windows in the lounge area. The apartment is well equipped and the air con units in bedroom & living area provide heating too for the cooler months. Great views from terrace & bedroom balcony. The surrounding area was very quiet during our stay with just a 10 minute walk to the water front. A bakery close by in Triq San Trofimu (St. Trophimus Street) provided bread & sweet & savoury bakes. Also nearby is the Soap Cafe 65, Triq San Duminku providing fine artisan beauty products made from natural ingredients on the premises. Local buses, water taxis & ferries are an efficient & cheap way of travelling around the island. Bert regularly corresponded during our stay and we can highly recommend apartment & location.

Apartment is located just few minutes walk from bus stops in Silema, shops and coffee shops. Bert was a great hosts. Communication was quick and easy and he was kind enough to let us check in earlier. We would definitely be back.

Die Wohnung liegt wirklich sehr schön – von der Dachterrasse aus der wunderschöne Blick auf die Kirche, die Hafeneinfahrt und Valetta. Sie ist für normale Bedürfnisse gut ausgestattet. Eine zweite Bettdecke wäre schön gewesen, aber die hätten wir bestimmt auf Nachfrage schnell bekommen. Bert ist wirklich sehr fürsorglich und hat sich oft erkundigt, ob alles o.k. ist. Vielleicht ist es möglich, ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten vor der Hauptsession zu machen. Ein paar Schimmelflecken in den Ecken der Klimaanlagen konnten jedenfalls den guten Eindruck nicht trüben. Wir würden wiederkommen... Danke.

We enjoyed our stay at Bert's apartment. The location was great - easy to walk to the supermarket, restaurants and many other stores. As well, it is a very short walk to the major bus area in Sliema where you can catch buses to all over the island. The view was amazing! It was great to wake up to the sunrise over Valetta, and to enjoy the lights of the city at night. The apartment was very clean and had what we needed to "eat in" if we wanted to. There were a few minor repairs needed to things like plumbing and remote controls units which likely the previous renters did not tell Bert about ... none of which affected our stay and I am sure will be fixed! I recommend this apartment for your stay in the Sliema and Valetta area!

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve been to so far. Modern and super clean apartment with a fantastic terrace. Though, my favourite spot was the small terrace in the bedroom and the view of the city. Very well-equipped and has an excellent location, and the building itself is very beautiful. As a coffee person, the coffee machine for me was a big plus! Bert is a wonderful, reliable and super-responsive host. 10 out of 10 for this experience!

Tolle Wohnung mit einer super Aussicht.

My partner and I visited Malta for a month in November to work remotely. Berts place was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. We loved waking up in the morning to the view over the ocean and Valetta plus enjoyed many mornings with coffee on the patio. The view over the church with the bells ringing is special and a rare find. Bert was a very helpful host and quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend his stay for your time in Malta.

It’s the perfect apartment. It is in a very quiet environment but very close to everything that you’ll need. Especially the Terasse was amazing, weather you’d like a nice brunch in the morning or a beautiful view at night. Only a few minutes and your at the Ferries, at the more busier parts of Malta or at the Grocery-Store. The Communication with Bert was super easy and friendly. Hope to be there soon again!

룸 컨디션은 매우 좋았습니다. 입구와 방문은 키 박스로 이루어져 있고 매번 비밀번호를 맞춰 키박스를 열어야 한다는것이 불편했습니다. 그리고 새벽부터 아침까지 술에취해 큰소리로 떠드는 남자가 있었으며, 그는 건물앞에 있었기에 다소 위험해 보였습니다.

De airbnb ligt op een top locatie in sliema, het is ruim ingericht en vooral het dakterras is heel fijn. Het bed ligt prima en de voorzieningen werken goed. Zeker een aanrader voor een fijne vakantie!

Magnifique appartement moderne bien situé, au calme au coeur de ruelles très peu passantes. Mention spéciale pour le grand toit-terrasse avec une vue quasiment à 360° donnant sur les toits d'une église, Sliema et La Valette au loin. Nous y avons pris tous nos petits-déjeuners et dîners agrémentés par les feux d'artifice. Un rêve éveillé ! For sure the most wonderful penthouse in Malta! Modern, super clean, ideally placed in Tas Sliema, close to all comodoties, sea, restaurants yet a quiet place. An amazing view on the bay and La Valette thanks to its huge rooftop terrace. The most beautiful airbnb I have ever been to for this price. Bert & Paulina are so kind, and reactive, for sure you will love your stay at their place. I definitely recommend!

The apartment is very clean and well renovated, as per the photos. We did have some issues but the host was very prompt to reply and did their best to resolve them. The oven was tripping the power off so we were unable to use it during our stay. Also something to know if you are female, there was a drunk guy in the street, we think he lives next door as he was sitting on the doorstep drinking at 10am when we checked in. He was making inappropriate comments and made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe to leave the apartment alone if he was outside. He was back the next day again shouting in the street.

The apartment was very modern and comfortably furnished. From the large balcony you had a wonderful view of Valletta. It was only a few minutes walk to the nearest shops. If there were any problems or questions, the hosts were always quick to help. We will come back anytime.

Easily the nicest hosts from all my travels. Super accommodating, very responsive and overall good vibes. Brand new place, comfortable bed, a bunch of amenities and most of all the terrasse is huge with an exceptional view of Valletta (perfect view of all the fireworks and light shows) and surroundings, located in a quiet neighborhood but so close to all the action and beaches (15mins ride from the Airport). So cheap for all what you get, highly recommend this place!!
