Smart Studio 1 - 'Sacre Cuor' Sliema - By Solea

The studio was smaller than anticipated. The toilet does not flush well so it smells throughout the tiny apartment. Left some valuables in the apartment. But the cleaning staff says it’s not there. Unfortunate, but that is the case.

Great hosts were helpful, responsive to our questions and brought extra necessities when we needed them. We got a great cross breeze through the place when we opened the windows so that brought a slice of Mediterranean air through our stay

Great place to stay! Very convenient location and we got great recommendations from the host!

Everything went great, the host gave us so many tips about the island and trips that we didn't have to look elsewhere. Communication was friendly and fast. When you lean out the window, you can see a beautiful church and feel like in the movie or Assassin’s Creed 😁 And finally, you are just a short walk to the sea, great cafes, and Lidl of course. And the best part, you don’t have to give up your night sleep having all these options nearby, because the only thing breaking the silence are the church bells.

В номере было чисто, обрадовал комплект пляжных полотенец. Очень много мух и комаров в номере, защитной сетки на окне нет. Вид с окна на заброшенное старое здание, внизу дома стройка и много пыли, очень плохая звукоизоляция и слышно, как разговаривают соседи.

Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location and great place with everything you need. Instructions were clear and very helpful with lots of recommendations. Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family

Location was good, it was at the side streets and quiet and 7-10 min walking distance to the promenade in Sliema. We are awake from one of the many churches Bell in Malta. Facilities for a holiday apt were all available. The sofa bed with gaps to the head and a bit too soft. Can consider changing to a proper bed.

Bert had ons op voorhand heel duidelijk uitgelegd hoe we binnen konden geraken en gaf veel aanraders om te doen tijdens ons verblijf. Het verblijf was proper en exact zoals beschreven/zoals de foto’s. We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf!

Eine sehr schöne kleine Unterkunft in sehr ruhiger Lage. Ein kleiner Spaziergang und man ist sofort im Zentrum. Sehr sauber gehalten und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Bert und sein Team waren immer erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Alles Gerätschaften funktionieren einwandfrei. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist das der Balkon nur über das Treppenhaus zugänglich ist und nicht an der Wohnung angebunden ist aber dafür kann der Vermieter nichts. Im Großen und Ganzen alles super. Meine Frau und ich haben definitiv die richtige Wahl getroffen dort eine Woche zu verbringen.

L'alloggio è assolutamente corrispondente alla descrizione: pulito, attrezzato e dotato di ogni comfort. L'accesso è stato agevole e senza alcuna difficoltà. La posizione dell'alloggio è assolutamente comoda per spostarsi a piedi accedendo con facilità a tutti i servizi. L'host è stato sempre disponibilissimo, reattivo e amichevole, ci è venuto incontro alla richiesta di posticipare di qualche ora il check-out. Per chi ha esigenza di soggiornare a Sliema è un posto molto comodo e in una zona riservata rispetto ai rumori del vicino lungomare. Grazie Bert!

The flat is on excellent location and everything is within a 10-minute walk - the beach, Lidl, the seafront where ferries and busses are available. Cleanliness was 10+. The apartment is well equipped with all useful and necessary amenities. We didn’t use them, but they’re great to have if you plan to prepare meals. The only downside was that there was a folding sofa instead of a regular bed. However, it wasn’t uncomfortable, and I managed to sleep well.

Appartamento pulito e molto comodo come base per visitare Malta. Vengono forniti tutti gli essenziali e anche 2 asciugami da mare. Self check-in e check-out pratico ma proprietario disponibile e presente per ogni cosa, con consigli utili su logistica e ristoranti in zona. La posizione, tra le vie caratteristiche di Sliema, lontana dal caos e dai rumori della movida lungomare e con i residenti molto gentili e pronti a darti indicazioni se necessario, è comoda per raggiungere a piedi il ferry per Valletta (10 minuti) ma anche per prendere bus e servizi taxi come Bolt per raggiungere le città e le spiagge più belle a nord e a sud in cerca 30 minuti di auto. Nel complesso un’ottimo soggiorno!

Nice and clean apartment with central location in Sliema

The apartment was lovely, extremely clean and in a great location. Bert was also very helpful with quick responses. No complaints!

Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienapartment. Die zentrale Lage ist wirklich super, sodass man alles bequem zu Fuß oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen kann. Das Apartment ist schön hell, sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, was den Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel gemacht hat. Besonders praktisch ist, dass Lidl direkt um die Ecke ist – perfekt für Einkäufe. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war gut, und bei Problemen wurde schnell geholfen. Allerdings gab es im Vorfeld leider zu viele Informationen, sodass wichtige Details im Chat leicht untergegangen sind. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist der Geruch beim Betreten des Apartments, der etwas muffig ist. Außerdem gibt es Schimmel an der Decke im Schlafzimmer und an der Wand in der Küche, was auf Dauer unangenehm sein kann. Insgesamt ist das Apartment eine gute Wahl, wenn man eine zentrale Lage sucht, sollte aber die genannten Punkte im Blick behalten.

Foi minha primeira vez em Malta e após buscar muito um airbnb acredito ter ficado em uma das melhores escolhas. Tive todas as orientações de forma antecipada e com uma comunicação muito clara de como proceder. A localização é ótima, vizinhaça tranquila, e a 5 ~ 10 minutos de caminhada de Sliema Ferries onde foi o ponto de saída de todas os meus passeios. Fiquei por 7 dias e como as minhas refeições foram em restaurantes acabei não utilizando os utensílios do apartamento. Porém, a vista estavam todos conforme descrito no anúncio. O banheiro tinha o básico como sabonete líquido, shampoo, papel higiênico e todas as toalhas. O chuveiro saia muita água e na temperatura que eu escolhia. A cama é boa e o jogo de cama era completo e estava tudo limpo. A internet não me deu problema para o meu uso, que foi básico: google maps, redes sociais, netflix e etc. Fiz uma medição da internet e estava com 20Mbps de download e 17Mbps de upload. Não tive nenhum problema, recomendo o espaço.

Soggiorno piacevole, Bert sempre reattivo, ci ha dato ottimi consigli. Personalmente avrei preferito avere oscuranti alle finestre, la mattina entra troppa luce

Bert was really helpfull in assisting us during our stay, from a flexible check in time and transfer from airport to suggestions on where to go in malta. Apartment was great too, very well equiped. Aside from a minor incovenience with the shower floor which was a bit craked, everything was perfect. would definetely stay there again.

Lovely place! Room was clean and bright, very well-equipped and spacious enough for 2. Location-wise, it is within walking distance to Sliema Ferry which had lots of restaurants and cafes, and plenty of buses to Valletta and around Malta. Though located on a quieter street, we felt safe walking back every night. Bert was also very helpful and responsive during our stay there. Thanks so much for the great stay, Bert! :)

Bert a été très aimable. Les instructions d'arrivée étaient claires. l'appartement est proche de toutes commodités, près des bus et de la mer. Beaucoup de restaurants et de cafés autour. Il est très bien équipé et très propre.

Bert's flat was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it :)

Proper appartement met alle nodige voorzieningen (haardroger, wasmachine, strijkijzer en -plank, douche). Host gaf vlot antwoord en handige tips en tricks. Enige wat wij misten was terrasje.

O anfitrião era bastante solicito e atencioso, precisávamos de um berço para nosso filho e ele prontamente nos atendeu, além disso a cozinha e lavanderia do apartamento eram super equipados.

Wir waren 4 Nächte bei Berts Unterkunft in Sliema. Die Wohnung ist relativ klein, hat uns jedoch vollkommen ausgereicht. Die Lage ist sehr gut, ruhig und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Uferpromenade und guten Restaurants sowie Bars entfernt. Bert war während des gesamten Aufenthalts äußerst Gastfreundlich und hat uns vorab viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Bert's place is exactly as the photographs show and as per the description. Despite being a pull-out bed, it was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, with some basic items supplied, everything worked perfectly including the aircon. Helpful touches such as plug adaptors were included, and I really liked the dedicated desk and chair infront of the window for catching up on work. Bert supplied lots of travel information, noting contactless check-in information is supplied at noon the day you are travelling. Perfect location for exploring Silema as well as getting the ferry to Valletta or a nice walk to St Julians/Paceville. Only 5 minutes from the big Lidl shop. Be aware that some taxi drivers from the airport may not be familiar with the address, it may be best to print a map of the location before you travel?

Cozy and comfortable studio apartment with all necessary amenities. Kitchen also had everything needed to cook a simple meal. Nice view of the local parish church. We had a good time as there was a local festival at the parish(st, peters holiday) Bert was very helpful and gave some good recommendations. Supermarket was also closeby. Sliema ferry point was just 10 to 15mins walk. Nice, quiet and safe neighbourhood. If you are the one to like a peaceful stay then i would recommend sliema anyday better than valetta, which is very busy, noisy and commercial and way more expensive. We walked around the lot in sliema and people here are lot more freindlier than in valetta.

The location of the apartment was very good. Check in was easy and it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Multiple transport options nearby the apartment. Bert was very helpful and provided lots of recommendations about our stay.

Great location

I had an amazing time at the apartment! Bert was extremely helpful with all the information he provided about the apartment and the surrounding area as well as checking on my stay to make sure everything was great. The location was lovely and peaceful, just a short walk from really good restaurants and bars, the Valletta ferry and many shops. The apartment was lovely, with all the amenities I needed for my week long stay and I’m very pleased I chose to book with Bert as I couldn’t be happier with my stay there. I will definitely book again next time I come to Malta.

The studio apartment was nicely equipped and wifi was good. The sofa bed was comfortable and it is close to the ferries and restaurants and grocery shops. Overall an enjoyable stay.

It was exactly as it is explained on the listing information. Its perfect for 2 people, very clean with all the equipment needed. The location is only some mins away from ferries that depart to valletta and good value for the money.

We enjoyed our stay at Bert`s place a lot! The check-in was extremely easy, the apartment was super clean and Bert was very responsive to any questions that we had. The only thing to have in mind is that if you need to park, you would rarely find a spot on the apartment`s street and you will need to look around for a spot in the neighbourhood.

Ich war mit einer Freundin für 4 Nächte Gast bei Bert. Er ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der jederzeit auf unsere Fragen und Anliegen eingegangen ist und sogar kurzfristig vorbeigekommen ist, um ein Problem zu lösen. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Zu Fuß ist man schnell bei verschiedenen Restaurants, Bars, Geschäften und Supermärkten. Die Anlegestelle für die Fähre nach Valletta ist ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Berts Apartment. :)

It's an easy walk down to Sliema ferries, nice modern apartment, the host very kindly provided a quilt at short notice as well as information about local services but the stairs are a little steep if you have heavy luggage.

I had a pleasant stay here! The apartment is clean and comfortable, also well equipped for someone who wants to cook. There are small packages of salt, pepper and sugar. There were 2-3 days that was cold and wet during my stay. Thanks to the small heater in the bathroom, I felt more comfortable. The apartment is close to Ferry bus stops, by walk just 6-8 minutes, easily access to other places without transfer. Bert is kind and helpful, he replied messages soon and solved my problem immediately. Thank you so much!

Appartement très propre dans une jolie rue très calme, pas trop de marche à pied pour rejoindre les quais où l'on trouve tout ce que l'on veut. Bus et ferry (quand il fonctionne) sont bien accessibles et petit miracle 3 fois sur 4 nous avons réussi à garer la voiture juste devant la porte. Bert est très réactif et a tout de suite corrigé les petits problèmes.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Bert's property. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. The location is great, convenient for the Sliema-Valletta ferry (a much better option than the bus for getting to Valletta). Useful corner shops nearish and a Lidl 10 minutes walk away. Good selection of cooking equipment and a washing machine. All in all a good place to stay. Thank you Bert.

Great location close to many restaurants, shopping, the promenade, and the valetta ferry. The apartment was nicely furnished. Bert is an excellent host and very quick to help with whatever questions a guest might have.

Great stay - the studio is very close to the Sliema coast where you can get public transport/ferries.

We had a beautiful time in this apartment. It is very well furnished and it's located in a beautiful, quiet area of Sliema. We had some problems with the cleanliness of the apartment on the first day of our stay, but after we informed the owner about the problem, he quickly responded and contacted the cleaning lady, so the next day the apartment was clean as it should be.  We will definitely reserve the apartment again when we come to Malta.

Die Kommunikation mit Bert und die Lage war sehr gut!

Uns hat die Wohnung wirklich super gut gefallen! Sie war geräumig mit einer wunderbar ausgestatteten großen Küche. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht :) Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen ruhigen Gegend, der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sie etwas auf einem Hügel liegt. Prinzipiell ist das selbst für die unsportlichste Person kein Problem doch bei 38 Grad Außentemperatur wurde einem auf dem 6 min Fußweg von der Bushaltestelle doch gut warm. Dafür hat man sich umso mehr auf die Klimaanlage gefreut :)

Отличное расположение на очень тихой улице. При этом в 5 минутах от квартиры большое количество баров и ресторанов с ночной жизнью. Рядом остановка автобуса, которой везет на песчаный пляж Golden Bay, а так же остановка автобусов до аэропорта. Оттуда же (с набережной) курсирует паром до Валлетты. В самой квартире было все необходимое! Квартира чистая и уютная. Нам разрешили оставить багаж на некоторое время после выселения. Это очень удобно. Рекомендуем!

Super Wohnung! Entspricht genau den Bildern und war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist auch super, ca. 7 min zu Fuß zur Haltestelle Sliema Ferries, von wo aus viele Busse fahren. Der Lidl ist ebenfalls nur einen kleinen Spaziergang entfernt (7min). Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und das Bett ist bequem. Der Vermieter Bert war bei Fragen & Problemen schnell verfügbar. Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Immer wieder gerne!

Господар дуже чуйний, оперативно відповідав та допомагав вирішити всі наші питання. Наполегливо рекомендую цю квартиру!

The apartment was small but functional, fully working kitchen and electronics in general. The bathroom was lovely, and with a window (not so common in Malta) moreover the experience was very good and comfortable, there's a washing machine and a powerful AC. The host were precise and quick at answering every question I had. Will surely book again when in Malta.
